Trust Wigan to collect your Year 11 results.
Results will be available from 9am. On arrival, please enter the school via the main reception and then
make your way straight to the Atrium. When you arrive at the Atrium you will be required to line up at your
collection point to receive your results and then exit the school via the attendance exit.
If you cannot or do not want to collect your results personally we offer a postal service. Please email
firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm if you prefer to have your examination results posted to you.
During the week beginning 2nd August 2021 you will receive further information regarding the Teacher
Assessed Grades (TAG) appeals process.
As previously explained, the Dean Trust has undertaken a rigorous quality assurance process prior to the
submission of the TAG grades. Furthermore, please be aware that pupils’ work has been sampled and
quality assured by awarding bodies to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all teachers’ grading.
Below you will find an infographic from the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) that outlines the TAG
process that has been undertaken so far:
It is very important for you and your child to understand that grades can go down, up or stay the same
through the appeals process.
If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact the school
